IAdvance ("we", "us") is an online learning practice platform for students, parents, and teachers. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to quincy@qrownengineering.com.
We collect only what the service needs to work:
Account information — email address, display name, account role (student, parent, or teacher), and for students a grade level.
Learning activity — answers to practice questions, mastery and progress scores, practice streaks, badges, assignments, and conversations with the built-in AI tutor. This data exists so students, their parents, and their teachers can see progress.
Preferences — settings such as a chosen theme or audio options.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or browsing history. We do not show advertising and we never sell personal information to anyone.
IAdvance is designed for children under 13 to use with the knowledge and consent of a parent, guardian, or school. We collect the minimum information needed to provide the service and nothing more.
A parent or guardian may review their child's information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete the child's account and its data entirely by contacting us at the email above. We do not condition a child's use of the service on providing more information than is reasonably necessary.
When a student uses the "Ask the Tutor" feature, the current question and the student's chat messages are sent to our AI service provider (Anthropic) to generate a helpful, age-appropriate hint. Tutor conversations are stored so that teachers and parents can review them. Tutor chats should not include personal information, and the tutor is instructed to keep conversations strictly about the lesson.
We use a small number of providers to run IAdvance, each receiving only what their function requires:
Supabase — secure database, authentication, and hosting of account and learning data. Anthropic — processes AI tutor requests. Payment processor — subscription payments are handled by our payment processor; your full card details are never stored on our servers.
All traffic is encrypted in transit. Data access is restricted by per-account security rules: students see their own data; parents see only children linked to their account; teachers see only students enrolled in their classes.
We keep account and progress data while an account is active so that learning history is not lost. You may delete your account — or request deletion of your or your child's data — at any time by contacting us. Deletion removes personal information from our production systems within 30 days.
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify account holders by email before the changes take effect.
